Great location near shops and restaurants, good value for money, comfortable bed and hot shower. Friendly staff, even cooked me a meal for free. Authentic Vietnamese experience. Likely more locals than foreigners staying.

This budget accommodation has a nice location, being near the center of town and many essential shops and restaurants. the staff are helpful and the rooms have well-working AC, making it comfortable in winter. Some of the rooms also offer a great view and are cosy, with ample table-top space and a nice shower room.
The building is rather tired and could use some refurbishment.

The hotel offers hot and cold water in the bathroom and fresh towels are provided every day. the hotel is located in a convenient area with easy access to a popular attraction nearby. the staff is friendly and offers affordable bike rentals.
The cleaning service could use some improvement as the room smelled a bit damp and the linens had holes and stains on them. We were disappointed with the lack of sufficient toiletries and the necessity to ask for additional supplies.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Son Ha Sapa Hotel Plus. the location was perfect, just a short walk away from eateries, the town center, and the bus station to Lao Cai. the owner and staff were very helpful and accommodating, providing us with great advice on where to go. the check, in process was quick and efficient, and our room was modern, clean, and well, equipped with all the necessary amenities. the beds were big and comfortable, and the air, conditioning was a lifesaver in the cold Sapa nights. The owner even helped us book a cheaper bus to Lao Cai, which picked us up right at the hotel. Cons: Not obvious to find. 😕.
